I’m sorry, most of you may think I’m being stupid but I LOVE ONTD, I tried to join but they weren’t accepting any new request, I’m just getting a kick out of this person stealing my Tumblr post and getting the message across on ONTD, and the comments!! people are totally agreeing with me!
As a Madonna fan I do feel like I need to express my point of view regarding the whole Madonna/TrollGa debate and discussion, I mean Lady TrollGa needs to be exposed for the quack and charlatan that she is!! And believe me some people who used to like Lady Gaga totally abhorr her now because they’ve basically realized she fucking sucks in everyway.
Regarding my comments about Madonna being THE pioneer when it comes to music videos, someone on ONTD said that many artists where experimenting with music videos and making them way before Madonna, like Blondie and The Supremes, etc, and yes I agree, other artists before Madonna experimented with music videos, HOWEVER, and in this I stand by my post, Madonna was the FIRST artist, before Michael Jackson and everybody else, even MTV, that realized the cinematic and storytelling potential of the music video and the potential it had to build an iconography.
In other words, Madonna probably was to music videos what DeMille and Orson Welles were to film. I mean it may sound outrageous and like I’m crazy but it truly is that way.
And not only that but it took Madonna’s peers years, even DECADES to catch up with her and what she was doing with the music video and I have yet to see any other artist achieve the artistry Madonna achieved with music videos. Not only that, but the CULTURAL, AND POLITICAL relevance her videos had, I mean it’s groundbreaking.
And I believe this needs to be repeated and said over and over because Madonna cannot be eclipsed by this troll, this disgusting human being called Lady Gaga, this travesty of existence that has yet to produce ANYTHING that has 1/10 of the artistry and conceptual cohesion of Madonna’s work and yet she’s taking all the glory? And being hailed as a genius when Madonna never was yet is more deserving of that label that Gaga will ever be??
No Sir, not on MY watch!! So I won’t shut up about Lady TrollGa and her quacked out, psychopathic ways.
